Test the strategy.
Check each decision.
One good trading day does not prove that a strategy works. A backtest tests trading rules with past market data. You can then check the results.
We are building TradeOnLogic to test options strategies. We plan tools to set entry rules, legs, risk limits, and exit rules. Check costs, drawdown, and each trade before you use the final result.
Check each part of your strategy.
We plan to start with NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, and SENSEX options. We plan to connect backtests, positions with multiple legs, risk rules, and replay.
Use replay to check decisions.
In the planned replay tool, you select a past day with available data. You move its clock forward, check option prices, and change a position. You can then check decisions that a final report does not explain.
Know the limits.
Past price records cannot show all orders in the market. A missing price does not mean a zero price. We must check that each record has the correct contract name. Each result must state its data source, simulated prices, and assumed costs.
Priyansh leads the project.
Priyansh leads TradeOnLogic, a software project based in India. We are still building the product. Before public release, we must check its data, calculations, and ease of use. We have not announced product access, data coverage, or prices.
